VietinBank honors workers on War Invalids and Martyrs Day

On July 24, 2025, VietinBank organized working delegations to visit and present gifts to war invalids, sick soldiers (TBBB) and people with meritorious services in the provinces/cities: Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh and Phu Tho. The visit is part of a series of practical activities to promote the tradition of "remembering the source of water when drinking water", showing gratitude to those who have contributed to the country on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

The locations visited by the Working Group include: Hanoi Center for Nursing and Caring for Meritorious People No. 4 ( Hanoi City); Thuan Thanh Nursing Center (Bac Ninh Province); Duy Tien Nursing Center for War Invalids, Kim Bang Nursing Center for War Invalids, Nho Quan Nursing Center for War Invalids (Ninh Binh Province) and Nursing Center for Meritorious People (Phu Tho Province).

The Working Groups presented each center with 20 million VND, flowers and a gift. “This activity contains the sentiments and gratitude of all VietinBank staff to contribute to taking care of the health and life of the TBBB and the meritorious people being treated at the centers. VietinBank hopes that the TBBB and the meritorious people will continue to maintain and recover their health, and always be shining examples of courage and sacrifice for the younger generation to learn and follow,” said a representative of VietinBank.

In addition, VietinBank also donated 4 seriously wounded soldiers, each with 3 million VND. These are seriously wounded soldiers who are being cared for by VietinBank for life, including: Hoang Quoc Hung, Nguyen Thanh Do, Nguyen Dang Duc, Nguyen Van Ty at the Center for Nurturing and Caring for Meritorious People No. 4 in Hanoi.

On this occasion, many units across the VietinBank system also offered incense and presented gifts to show their respect and gratitude to the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed for national independence. Previously, on the morning of July 19, 2025, in Phong Thai Ward, Hue City, the inauguration and handover ceremony of the project "Upgrading and renovating items of Huong Dien Martyrs' Cemetery" took place. VietinBank supported 2.3 billion VND to carry out this project. Thereby contributing to beautifying the solemn space of Huong Dien Martyrs' Cemetery.

Through practical material and spiritual gratitude activities, VietinBank has actively contributed to the whole society in taking care of and repaying the gratitude of war invalids, families of martyrs, and people with revolutionary contributions. At the same time, VietinBank educates the young generation to appreciate the value of history, to be aware of "remembering the source of water when drinking" to live humanely, responsibly, and to strive and contribute to the future.
