On the afternoon of May 10 (local time), right after the successful talks, General Secretary To Lam and Russian President Putin witnessed the handover ceremony of cooperation documents between the two sides. The number of documents this time is greater than the number signed during Mr. Putin's visit to Vietnam in June 2024.
This will be the basis for the two sides to continue to strengthen the legal basis and promote bilateral relations in each specific field.

- Memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Voice of Vietnam and the State Budget Agency of the Russian Federation on organization, production and dissemination of music, cultural and educational programs of the "Russian State Music Radio and Television Center".
- Memorandum of Understanding between Hanoi National University and Moscow State University of International Relations.
- Cooperation agreement between Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the Academy of National Economics and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation.
- Memorandum of Understanding between Vietnam Vaccine Joint Stock Company (VNVC) and Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

On the same day, May 10, the two Defense Ministers also signed the Vietnam - Russian Federation Strategic Partnership Plan in the defense sector for the 2026 - 2030 period.
Also on May 10, the two leaders adopted a Joint Statement on key orientations in the Vietnam-Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in the new period.
The Joint Statement highly appreciated the important achievements of the bilateral relationship, affirmed the principles, and set out major orientations to promote and strengthen cooperation and develop bilateral relations.
