On the afternoon of May 10 (local time), right after the successful talks, General Secretary To Lam and Russian President Putin witnessed the handover ceremony of cooperation documents between the two sides. The number of documents this time is greater than the number signed during Mr. Putin's visit to Vietnam in June 2024.

This will be the basis for the two sides to continue to strengthen the legal basis and promote bilateral relations in each specific field.

- Memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Voice of Vietnam and the State Budget Agency of the Russian Federation on organization, production and dissemination of music, cultural and educational programs of the "Russian State Music Radio and Television Center".

- Memorandum of Understanding between Hanoi National University and Moscow State University of International Relations.

- Cooperation agreement between Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the Academy of National Economics and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation.

- Memorandum of Understanding between Vietnam Vaccine Joint Stock Company (VNVC) and Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

- Contract for the purchase and sale of natural gas from block 12/11 between Vietnam Industry and Energy Group and Zarubezhneft Joint Stock Company and PetroVietnam Gas Corporation.

- Comprehensive cooperation agreement between Vietnam Airlines Corporation and VTB Bank Russia.

- Overall roadmap for peaceful nuclear energy cooperation for the period 2025 - 2030 between the Ministry of Science and Technology and ROSATOM Corporation.

- Memorandum of understanding on tourism cooperation between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia for the period 2025 - 2030.

- Agreement between the two Ministries of Science and Technology on cooperation in selecting Vietnamese and Russian scientific and technological research topics and projects.

- Agreement between the two Governments on the establishment and operation of the Pushkin Russian Language Center.

- Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the Russian Federation on expanding the area of ​​operation in the field of geological exploration and oil and gas exploitation on the continental shelf of Vietnam and on the territory of the Russian Federation.

- Protocol amending the Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the Russian Federation on continued cooperation in the field of geological exploration and oil and gas exploitation on the continental shelf of Vietnam within the framework of the Vietsovpetro Joint Venture (2010).

- Protocol amending the Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the Russian Federation on continued cooperation in the field of geological exploration and oil and gas exploitation in the territory of the Russian Federation within the framework of the Rusvietpetro Joint Venture Limited Liability Company (2016).

On the same day, May 10, the two Defense Ministers also signed the Vietnam - Russian Federation Strategic Partnership Plan in the defense sector for the 2026 - 2030 period.

Also on May 10, the two leaders adopted a Joint Statement on key orientations in the Vietnam-Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in the new period.

The Joint Statement highly appreciated the important achievements of the bilateral relationship, affirmed the principles, and set out major orientations to promote and strengthen cooperation and develop bilateral relations.
