Indonesia is Vietnam's second largest trading partner in Southeast Asia with bilateral trade reaching 16.7 billion USD in 2024, of which tourism is a promising economic pillar with more than 184 thousand Indonesian visitors to Vietnam.

With airlines promoting direct flights, it will be a key driving force to increase the number of passengers and expand sustainable aviation-tourism cooperation in the coming time.
