The President of the Provincial Women's Union awarded awards to typical individuals in the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020-2025.

According to the report of the Provincial Women's Union - the standing agency of the Provincial Committee for the Advancement of Women (VSTBCPN), the unions at all levels have proactively and coordinated to organize many activities to support women in various fields, contributing to the implementation of gender equality goals. Typically, in the political field, the union has focused on training and capacity building for female cadres participating in leadership and management positions in the political system, especially newly elected and appointed female cadres, female candidates for the National Assembly, People's Council deputies at all levels, and female cadres of ethnic minorities. From 2021 to present, the whole province has more than 3,400 female cadres appointed for the first time, women participating in elected representatives for the first time, young female cadres trained to improve their knowledge and skills; more than 4,000 female cadres have been trained to improve their leadership, management capacity and gender mainstreaming skills. In the 2021-2026 term, the association at all levels coordinated to organize over 30 training courses, seminars, and workshops to share experiences and improve election campaigning capacity for nearly 10,000 female candidates, practically contributing to increasing the proportion of female National Assembly deputies and female People's Council deputies at all levels.

Along with that, the association at all levels has consulted and coordinated to introduce more than 5,700 outstanding women for the Party to consider admitting, of which 4,662 outstanding women were admitted to the Party, contributing to increasing the source of female cadres for Party committees and authorities at all levels.

In the economic and labor fields, the association at all levels has organized nearly 1,500 training sessions, improving the capacity of project development, startup ideas, applying information technology in production, business, product consumption, and trading on e-commerce platforms for members, women, and owners of collective economic models managed by women; coordinated the transfer of science and technology to more than 200,000 women, provided vocational training to 28,000 women, and introduced jobs to 22,725 female workers; implemented the Project "Supporting women to start businesses in the period 2017-2025", from 2021 to present, has supported more than 2,500 women to start businesses and start businesses, of which 565 new enterprises were established by women; mobilized resources to support the establishment of 24 new cooperatives. Activities to support women in the economic field have helped many women find jobs, increase their income, and expand their production and business. Through this, many women have affirmed their role and position in the family and society.

In the fields of health, education and training, information and communication... more and more women have access to information, policies and guidelines of the Party and policies and laws of the State on gender equality and the advancement of women, and at the same time enjoy legitimate and legal rights and benefits.

To contribute to the implementation of the National Strategy on Gender Equality, the Provincial Women's Union has coordinated and mobilized additional resources to support the resolution of women's pressing issues; improved the capacity of union officials at all levels and effectively carried out union tasks, contributing to the implementation of gender equality targets. From 2021-2025, the Provincial Women's Union has mobilized resources for projects, plans, and programs to support members in many aspects of life such as clean water, environmental sanitation, raising awareness, supporting livelihood models..., including the ChoBa Project, the Project "Improving the lives of female workers - My strong initiative", the Project "Supporting women to start a business in the period 2017-2025"... In particular, implementing Project 8 "Implementing gender equality and solving urgent issues for women and children" in the period 2021-2025 under the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, the provincial Women's Union at all levels has established and maintained nearly 300 community communication teams (exceeding the target), supporting 15 livelihood models for cooperatives and cooperatives owned by women applying 4.0 technology; Established 46 “Trusted Addresses” (exceeded target); organized 130 policy dialogues at commune and village level; established 64 “Leaders of Change” clubs (exceeded target)...

In addition, the Provincial Women's Union also participated in high-level delegation exchange activities of the Central Union and the Provincial Party Committee to visit Laos; signed a memorandum of understanding between the Provincial Women's Union and the Hua Phan Provincial Women's Union for the period 2024-2026; coordinated with the Vietnam Women's Union in the Federal Republic of Germany to present 80 gifts to disadvantaged members... The above foreign affairs activities have contributed to enhancing the role and position of Thanh Hoa women in the field of diplomacy, promoting the image of the country and people of Vietnam in general, and Thanh Hoa in particular.

With the achieved results, the goal of implementing the National Strategy on Gender Equality for the period 2021-2030 and the work of VSTBCPN in the province does not stop at narrowing the gender gap, eliminating gender stereotypes, completing the targets of 6 target groups according to the orientation, but the core and sustainable value is to promote the role of women in all areas of social and family life, eliminating the concept of deviation in society. This is the most important factor to change the situation of gender inequality, promoting the development of women.
