“Echoes of Autumn” - The epic song celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2nd

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Last night, August 29, Thanh Hoa Newspaper and Radio - Television organized the art and political program "Echoes of Autumn" to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Attending the program were Comrade Dau Thanh Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors, the Fatherland Front Committee and provincial-level organizations, along with a large number of cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members, association members, students.

Elaborately staged, the political and artistic program “Echoes of Autumn” recreates the seething revolutionary spirit of the historic autumn of 1945 – the moment when the entire nation rose up to seize power, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. The immortal spirit of that autumn continued to guide the two long-term resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism, fostering a strong will and aspiration for independence and national unification.

The program is led by songs that have been around for years such as: Len Dang, Tien Ve Ha Noi , Nguoi La Niem Tin Tat Thang, Co Gai Mo Duong, Mien Xa Tham... mixed with documentary images, bringing the audience back to the heroic spirit of the whole nation in each historical period.

The sacrifices of blood and bones are deeply depicted, leading to an explosion of joy on the day the country was reunited and ending with a strong aspiration for a new era with the song "The Country Rises".

Through the language of art, the program “Echoes of Autumn” not only recreates the flow of history, paying tribute to the sacrifices of previous generations, but also honors the glorious tradition of Thanh Hoa homeland - a land of talented people, a great rear of the whole country.

At the same time, the program conveys a profound political and social message about the aspiration to rise up and build a strong and prosperous homeland and country.
