The 500kV Hai Phong - Thai Binh transmission line project, the section passing through Thai Binh province, has a length of 18.5km, a land acquisition area of nearly 26,000m2, passing through Quynh Phu district. The safety corridor passes through about 8 houses, 6 livestock barns, 3 huts, 9 warehouses and 1 greenhouse of households. It is expected that a construction contractor will be selected by early July. According to the plan, this transmission line will be completed and energized before August 19, 2025, as required by the Prime Minister. Meanwhile, the 500kV Thai Binh transformer station is built in a rice field in Bac Son commune, Hung Ha district, with a total land use area of over 11.3ha. According to the plan, the 500kV Thai Binh transformer station project will be completed and energized in sync with the 500kV Hai Phong - Thai Binh transmission line project.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Pham Le Phu, General Director of EVNNPT, expressed his gratitude to the leaders of Thai Binh province for organizing the meeting so that the Corporation could report on key projects as well as the management and operation of power transmission grid projects in the province on schedule assigned by the Prime Minister. He hoped to continue receiving the attention, direction and support of the province in the coming time. EVNNPT promised to comply with regulations to implement the project as quickly as possible on schedule assigned by the Prime Minister.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed solutions to speed up the implementation of the two urgent projects under the direction of the Prime Minister, especially those related to site clearance and compensation.

In his concluding remarks, Comrade Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: These are national key projects, of special significance in socio -economic development and ensuring energy security. The Provincial People's Committee has promptly issued directives, creating favorable conditions for the Corporation to implement the project. In response to the request to shorten the progress according to the direction of the Prime Minister, the province is committed to accompanying and directing departments, branches and localities to take drastic action, especially in site clearance, ensuring the completion of the project on schedule. He requested relevant departments, branches, districts and units to continue to raise awareness, clearly see the significance and importance of the project to enhance responsibility in the process of performing the tasks. Request the Corporation to urgently select contractors with sufficient capacity and experience; at the same time, complete procedures to ensure the project's progress. Early notification of route direction, column foundation location and direction of contractor to return site to local people after construction. He assigned specific tasks to relevant departments, branches and localities to proactively coordinate and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles during the implementation process. The province committed to closely coordinate and provide maximum support for the project to be completed on schedule according to the Prime Minister's direction; hoping that EVNNPT will continue to pay attention and actively coordinate with localities to speed up the project's progress.
