The anniversary is a political and cultural event of special significance, demonstrating the morality of "remembering the source of water when drinking", the deep gratitude of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang province towards the great President Ho Chi Minh - who chose Tan Trao as the center of command and led to the success of the August Revolution in 1945, establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam).
Accordingly, the celebration will take place on August 14, at Tan Trao Square, Tan Lap village, Tan Trao commune, Tuyen Quang province. This is an opportunity to deeply express gratitude for the heroic historical milestones, affirming the special role and position of Tuyen Quang , which is honored as the Capital of the Liberated Zone, the Capital of Resistance in the revolutionary process of the nation.
The celebration program was organized with a series of activities: offering incense at Na Nua Temple, Tan Trao Communal House, President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Area; offering flowers at the "Uncle Ho in Tan Trao" Monument; flag-raising ceremony; commemorative speeches by provincial leaders, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, representatives of the young generation; cutting the ribbon to inaugurate the monument; giving gifts to families with meritorious services; performing a special art program called "You are the belief in certain victory".
The ceremony is expected to be attended by about 1,300 delegates, including leaders and former leaders of the Party and State; representatives of central ministries and branches; provincial leaders of all periods; the People's Public Security force, the People's Army; youth union members, students and a large number of people of all ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang province.
