Tuyen Quang organizes periodic health check-ups for people across the province

The Department of Health of Tuyen Quang province has just issued plan No. 51/KH-SYT dated July 24, 2025 on organizing periodic health check-ups for people in the province in 2025. The program will be implemented from August to December 25, 2025, with the goal of screening for diseases, providing consultation, providing free medicine and establishing health management records for people.

The program gives special priority to 17 border communes and policy beneficiaries, poor households, the elderly, children under 6 years old, and people with disabilities in the remaining communes and wards. In addition to general examination, the program also combines communication, disease prevention consultation, and raising awareness of community health care, especially regarding non-communicable diseases and social diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension, tuberculosis, malaria, HIV/AIDS, skin diseases, etc.

The activities will be organized at commune and ward health stations (including stations), with the participation of provincial hospitals, regional hospitals and medical centers. In border communes, the program will be implemented in the form of military-civilian medical cooperation, with close coordination from the Provincial Border Guard Command.

The Department of Health requires regional health centers to proactively coordinate with hospitals and related units to agree on time and develop an implementation plan. In particular, focusing on completing the medical examination program for 100% of people in 17/17 border communes and poor households in the province before December 25, 2025; requiring localities to actively coordinate in informing and mobilizing people to come for medical examination at the right time and place; at the same time, fully update electronic health data after each examination.

This is a meaningful activity, contributing to primary health care for people, especially in disadvantaged areas, remote areas. At the same time, it is an important basis for the health sector to grasp the community health situation, improve the quality of disease prevention and treatment at the grassroots level.
