At Cam Pha Stadium, the Vietnamese women's team had a friendly match as part of the training plan towards the 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Championship.
Facing Than KSVN, coach Mai Duc Chung deployed a starting lineup consisting of goalkeeper Khong Thi Hang, defenders Chuong Thi Kieu, Le Thi Diem My, Tran Thi Thu Thao, Tran Thi Thu; midfield consisted of Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy, Ngan Thi Van Su, Duong Thi Van, Thai Thi Thao, Nguyen Thi Van and captain Huynh Nhu. The Vietnamese women's team entered the match proactively and put pressure on early.
In the 24th minute, Huynh Nhu crossed the ball accurately for Bich Thuy to head the ball to open the score 1-0. Just 5 minutes later, Huynh Nhu continued to cross, this time it was Ngan Thi Van Su's turn to jump in, raising the score to 2-0.
Than KSVN Club quickly responded. In the 30th minute, Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang had a beautiful long-range shot, shortening the score to 1-2. In the 33rd minute, Coach Mai Duc Chung replaced Chuong Thi Kieu with Tran Thi Duyen. In the second half, the coaching staff continued to experiment by replacing almost the entire lineup.
In the 52nd minute, Pham Hai Yen scored with a tricky shot from outside the box, raising the score to 3-1. However, Than KSVN still persistently pursued and scored the second goal in the 58th minute thanks to Tran Nhat Lan.
In the remaining time, both teams created a few more chances but no more goals were scored. The match ended with a score of 3-2 in favor of the Vietnamese women's team.
This result helps coach Mai Duc Chung and his team maintain the playing rhythm and effectively check the force, preparing for the upcoming regional tournament.
