According to VFF, at noon on August 3, the Thai women's team officially arrived in Hai Phong city to prepare to participate in the 2025 Southeast Asian tournament.
The team was arranged to stay at the Mercure Hotel - which is also the base of the Vietnamese women's team.
Under the leadership of head coach Futoshi Ikeda, the Thai women's team brought 23 players to Vietnam.
On the same afternoon, the players from the "Land of Golden Pagodas" will enter their first training session at Vin Cau Rao 2 Stadium to get used to the local weather and field conditions.
As planned, on August 5, the head coach of the Thai women's team will attend a pre-tournament press conference with representatives of Group A teams at the Pullman Hai Phong Hotel.
According to the match schedule, the Thai women's team will meet Indonesia (August 6) and Cambodia (August 9) at Lach Tray Stadium.
The most anticipated match in the group between the Vietnamese women's team and Thailand will take place at 7:30 p.m. on August 12.
Earlier on the morning of August 3, the Philippine women's team arrived in Vietnam and traveled straight to Viet Tri ( Phu Tho ) to prepare for the matches in Group B.
Participating in this tournament, the Philippines team brought 23 players and 12 members of the coaching staff, team officials and was led by head coach Mark Gabriele Torcaso.
