Performance of Vietnamese artificial intelligence
In the exhibition space of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the humanoid robot developed by VinMotion has become the center of attention. With a height of nearly 1.7 meters and flexible movements, the robot not only knows how to wave or bow but also converse in Vietnamese naturally.

The crowd filled the area, everyone eagerly waiting for their turn to interact. Many visitors were excited when the robot called out its name correctly, creating an unforgettable moment. “I have never seen a robot that can talk like that, it is so interesting and modern!”, Nguyen An Minh, a student from Nha Trang, excitedly shared.
The information that surprised many people more was that these robots were completely “Made in Vietnam”. In just 7 months, the engineering team led by Hoang Quoc Dong developed 12 humanoid robot models, showing great potential for application. Another highlight is the Multi-Agent AI technology, an advanced, integrated artificial intelligence (AI) model, which helps robots interact intelligently and multilingually with almost instantaneous response speed. The robot’s ability to react quickly and answer accurately has convinced even tech-savvy people.
Rapid progress of Vietnamese technology
At the outdoor exhibition area of the Ministry of National Defense , the Truong Son missile complex (VCS-01) “Make in Vietnam” attracted special attention. This is a self-researched, designed and manufactured product, with high mobility and effective destruction of surface targets. Along with many modern weapons and equipment (airborne radiation reconnaissance equipment of the Institute of Military Science and Technology; long-range, strategic multi-purpose UAVs performing tasks such as electronic reconnaissance...) displayed at the exhibition is a vivid demonstration of Vietnam's ability to master modern military technology.
At the exhibition, in the field of defense and security, outstanding achievements were also introduced such as anti-drone radar, modern surveillance systems, advanced military telecommunications equipment, showing the great progress of Vietnamese military science . If during the resistance period, homemade weapons such as Professor Tran Dai Nghia's improved Bazooka gun became a symbol of Vietnamese intelligence, now high-tech products have affirmed a new position.
Along with national defense, the public security sector also marked its mark with the application of AI and imaging technology. AI camera systems are capable of recognizing and analyzing images in the blink of an eye, making an important contribution to monitoring, investigating, and managing social order. The exhibition also displayed state-of-the-art military information equipment, from radio stations to digital telecommunications infrastructure, affirming the synchronization between defense research capabilities and the national security system.
After 6 days of opening (from August 28 to September 2), the National Achievements Exhibition with the theme “80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness Journey” attracted nearly 4 million visitors - an unprecedented record in Vietnam. In response to the people's needs, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh decided to extend the exhibition until September 15, creating opportunities for people to explore and experience Vietnam's activities and achievements.
In the medical field, technology is demonstrated through AI imaging devices, surgical robots and telemedicine platforms. Surgical robots help bring superior precision, reduce risks and shorten recovery time for patients. Notably, Hololens augmented reality glasses allow doctors at the grassroots level to connect directly with experts in real time, displaying instructions right at the location of the operation.
In the aerospace exhibition area, Vietnam made its mark by mastering the Vinasat-1 satellite technology, marking a historical milestone in owning its own satellite. Satellite models and space telecommunications simulation devices strongly inspired the younger generation, turning the experience into a vivid “technology classroom”. The appearance of high-tech products created by Vietnamese people aroused pride and a strong desire to rise up.
