The celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam has attracted special attention from international media agencies.

Reuters news agency (UK) published an article with the title "Vietnam celebrates 80th National Day September 2 with the largest parade in decades".

Reuters was also impressed by the scene of a sea of ​​people pouring into the streets of Hanoi to watch the parade on the occasion of the National Day on September 2nd. Most of them wore red shirts with yellow stars and held the Vietnamese flag, showing strong national spirit.

The newspaper quoted General Secretary To Lam's speech at the ceremony, emphasizing: "Vietnam is determined and persistent in protecting the independence, freedom, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and every inch of the sacred land of the Fatherland. Kommersant newspaper commented that Vietnam celebrated its 80th National Day with a grand parade. The Russian newspaper described Hanoi streets as filled with flags and flowers and tens of thousands of people carrying flags, most of whom were wearing red shirts with a yellow star.

"Modern military equipment took part in the parade, including tanks, missiles, helicopters and fighter jets. Thousands of Vietnamese soldiers and foreign troops, including those from Russia, China, Laos and Cambodia, took part in the event. The Vietnamese Navy, including submarines, also held a sea parade on this occasion," Kommersant wrote.

China Daily (China) previously reported that the participation of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) ceremonial troupe in the parade at the invitation of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense is a move to strengthen military and cultural friendship between the two countries, contributing to consolidating the traditional friendship.

Japan's Nikkei newspaper published the event that Vietnam celebrated the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2, with the highlight being a large-scale parade marking the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The newspaper asserted that on this day in 1945, President Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnam’s independence from French colonial rule, opening a new era for the country. The newspaper also published impressive development figures for Vietnam in July. Despite new US tariff policies, exports still increased by 7% compared to the same period last year, reaching 42 billion USD.
