Children participate in activities to experience ethnic culture.

Instead of leaving their children at home alone or burying themselves in video games, many parents have chosen to send their children to gifted and life skills classes. The Provincial Youth Activity Center has become a familiar address every summer. This year, the Center attracted more than 500 children from 5 to 18 years old to participate in 23 diverse subjects, including: Vocal music, organ, dance, painting, MC children, soccer, badminton, chess, basketball, martial arts... In addition, the Center also cooperates to open classes, such as: TV KIDS - accompanying children; Smart Math Soroban. In addition to studying, children can also participate in summer camps with many useful activities, practice life skills in many localities in the province, helping to expand knowledge and practice independence. Some outstanding students were selected to participate in the National Children's Arts Festival 2025.

With exciting activities during the 2 summer months, children are trained comprehensively in "Morality - Intelligence - Fitness - Beauty", along with many necessary skills suitable for their age. In particular, children can interact, chat, make friends and learn from each other, accumulating many social skills. Dinh Hoang Bao Tram, Bac Yen commune, excitedly said: Among the summer activities, I like participating in the summer camp in Moc Chau the most. I got to know many new friends from many other places in the province, learned useful lessons, especially the ability to be independent, work in groups, the spirit of collective solidarity, and visited and learned about historical relics and tourist attractions in the province.

Having a daughter who is taking a modern dance class, Ms. Tong Thi Sao, Chieng An Ward, said: My daughter is entering grade 4 this year. Although she is quite independent, she has been absent from school for 3 months during the summer, so she inevitably watches too much TV. Meanwhile, both my husband and I are busy, so at the beginning of the summer, I registered my daughter for a modern dance class, both to limit her use of electronic devices and to give her the opportunity to meet friends, and to develop her passion and artistic abilities. After nearly 3 months of studying, I now see that my daughter is much more confident and active.

In addition, sports and martial arts clubs are also the choice of many young people and are enthusiastically supported by the majority of parents, such as: Chess, swimming, basketball, soccer, badminton, tennis, pickleball, traditional martial arts, taekwondo... The clubs are a good opportunity for children to practice physical fitness, motor skills, have good health and also create a space for young people to learn from each other, practice their courage, will, and independence.

Martial arts classes attract many children during the summer.

Phung Minh Tra, a student of Lich Tiger Taekwondo Club, To Hieu Ward, shared: Practicing at the club, being encouraged by teachers, we gradually learned those qualities, so Taekwondo gradually became a passion for me and my long-time students. During the summer, the club organizes more activities, especially training us to participate in major tournaments. I have also won 2 national gold medals, 2 provincial gold medals and many medals in tournaments at all levels after 8 years of studying this martial art.

Soccer classes are offered during the summer.

At the same time, sectors, organizations, and localities coordinate with schools to manage and monitor students' situations during the summer. Many community programs are implemented, such as: volunteer activities, environmental cleaning, traffic safety propaganda, accident prevention, drowning and social evils.

Thanks to the richness of summer activities, children are re-energized, enriched with knowledge and skills, and have a comfortable and confident spirit to enter a new school year. These useful experiences are valuable assets, nurturing dreams, motivating children to strive, practice and grow up every day.
