On August 29, at Bau Sen Primary School, Cho Quan Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, more than 1,000 students, along with the school board and teachers, wore red shirts with yellow stars and participated in the meaningful activity "Fatherland in the Heart" to celebrate the 80th National Day on September 2.

After the flag-raising ceremony, the whole school watched a documentary video of Uncle Ho reading the Declaration of Independence. The students wore red shirts with yellow stars, forming the number September 2 in the school yard. On the morning of September 2, 1945, at the historic Ba Dinh Square, on behalf of the provisional government, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. After 80 years, at the elementary school in the city named after Uncle Ho, teachers and students reviewed the heroic history of the nation.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Hai, Principal of Bau Sen Primary School, said that on the morning of August 29, he brought to the school more than 200 red flag shirts with yellow stars that he bought himself to give to his students, so that all of them could wear the special shirt color, recording meaningful moments.
