FIBAA leaders award certificate of educational quality standards to National Economics University

FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) is a quality assurance organization of the Swiss Government, headquartered simultaneously in Germany and Switzerland, with the world's leading reputation in accreditation of social sciences and humanities, law, administration and economics.

Professor Pham Hong Chuong, Principal of the National Economics University, said that up to now, the school has had 20 programs meeting quality standards according to the standards of the ACBSP organization, USA; 15 programs meeting quality standards according to the standards of the FIBAA organization, Switzerland; 16 training programs meeting quality standards according to domestic standards.

According to Mr. Huynh Van Chuong, Director of the Department of Quality Management (Ministry of Education and Training), the National Economics University is a pioneer in participating in international accreditation. Currently, the country has nearly 260 higher education institutions that have been accredited, but most of them are accredited by domestic accreditation organizations.

Only 11 institutions have been recognized as meeting quality standards by international education quality accreditation organizations, including the National Economics University. The country has nearly 2,000 accredited training programs, of which nearly 600 programs are internationally accredited. The National Economics University is one of the few schools with many internationally accredited programs.

Mr. Huynh Van Chuong also said that university accreditation brings some great benefits such as autonomy, self-determination of enrollment targets, and self-determination of tuition fees. With international accreditation, universities also have other benefits such as facilitating international integration, easily achieving mutual recognition of diplomas and certificates between Vietnamese and international schools.
