Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities: Journalism major has the highest standard score

In 2025, the benchmark score for journalism will still lead the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City in the method of considering high school graduation exam scores with 28.55 points.

On the afternoon of August 22, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Ho Chi Minh City National University) announced the admission scores for the first round of 2025.

Specifically, the methods include: Method 1: direct admission, priority admission; Method 2: admission based on the results of the capacity assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2025; Method 3: admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.

In particular, the method of considering high school graduation exam scores has a standard score range ranging from 20 to 28.55 points, the highest is journalism with 28.55 points (combination C00), the lowest is Russian language with 20 points (combination D01). The majority of majors have a standard score according to the combination of over 21 points (95.8%).

For the method of considering the results of the competency assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University, the score ranges from 650 to 972 points, the highest is multimedia communications with 972 points, the lowest is Italian language with 650 points.

For the remaining methods (admission based on academic results combined with a number of achievement conditions), the benchmark scores range from 24 to 29.35.

According to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, after knowing the admission score, successful candidates need to confirm their admission online on the general admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 30.
