Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade announced the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday schedule as 4 weeks. The holiday period is from February 9, 2026 to March 8, 2026 (ie December 22, 2025 to January 21, 2026 lunar calendar).

The Tet holiday is specified in the 2025-2026 training schedule issued by the school's principal for the school's bachelor, master, and doctoral degrees.

The school representative said that the school actually announced the training progress for all levels for students in the 2025-2026 school year in March, not now. However, this progress is continuous throughout the year.

Regarding the Lunar New Year holiday for students in Ho Chi Minh City in 2026, recently, Mr. Ho Tan Minh, Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, said that the Department will propose a holiday schedule for the whole week. It is expected that the Department of Education and Training will propose to the City People's Committee to give students a 2-week Lunar New Year holiday.

Including weekends, the expected Lunar New Year holiday in 2026 for students in Ho Chi Minh City is 16 days.
