Dismantling a multi-level gambling ring worth 1,000 billion in Ha Giang

On June 6, the Criminal Police Department of Ha Giang Province Police coordinated with the Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security, Hanoi City Police, Ho Chi Minh City Police, Tuyen Quang Province Police and other professional units to simultaneously arrest and urgently search the residences of many subjects while they were organizing gambling and gambling.

Some subjects in the gambling ring were arrested.

The arrested subjects include: Nguyen Huy Trung, Bui Thi Trang Nhung, Pham Thi Nguyet, Hoang Thi Lan, Ha Ngoc Anh, Sin Van Chung, Tran Manh Hung, Bui Anh Tu, all residing in Bac Quang district, Ha Giang province and Nguyen Tien Hoang (residing in Tuyen Quang city, Tuyen Quang province). This is a criminal group that colluded with subjects from other provinces to form a gambling organization and gambling in the form of buying and selling lottery numbers.

The ringleader is Nguyen Huy Trung (born in 1989, residing in Group 3, Viet Quang Town, Bac Quang District, Ha Giang Province). Quang used social networking applications on mobile phones to create a multi-level gambling and gambling organization line with daily transaction amounts of about 2 to 3.5 billion VND.

Initial investigation results determined that this group of subjects has been operating since the beginning of 2022 until now with a total transaction amount of over 1,000 billion VND... During the search, the Police Agency seized a number of related documents and objects.
