The exhibition introduces 50 large-format photos (60x90cm) divided into two thematic groups: 25 photos of borders, national landmarks, the country's extreme points, and the beauty of Vietnamese people and nature; 25 photos of Vietnam's seas and islands, including Truong Sa and DK1 Platform. The works were taken by the authors: Tran Thanh, Le Viet Khanh, Vo Cong Danh Viet.
In addition, the event also introduced many interesting documents and artifacts such as videos and images from the journey "Non song lien mot dai" - a journey of connection and gratitude carried out by engineer and photographer Tran Thanh, Chairman of the Vietnam Sea and Islands Association, through 9,817km along the length of the country in 40 days by motorbike; the project "HiGreen Truong Sa xanh" for the marine and island environment implemented by the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) in coordination with the Navy; Displaying specialized artifact cabinets supported by the Navy Museum and the Youth Academy...
The highlight of the event is the exhibition and introduction of the photo book "The Sea of Human Heart" - an elaborate publication, 200 pages thick, 24x28cm in size, published by the Information and Communication Publishing House in July 2025. The book selects more than 500 typical photos of author Tran Thanh in more than a decade of working with a modern design, each photo has a QR code linking to a bilingual story in Vietnamese - English, bringing a visual and vivid experience to readers.
Author Tran Thanh shared that the exhibition and the book are a tribute to the marine soldiers, and at the same time a “bridge” connecting the hearts of the mainland people with the homeland’s islands. He hopes that through each frame, viewers will feel not only the beauty of the country, but also the “sea” of affection, responsibility and trust of the Vietnamese people.
The exhibition is open to the public. This is an opportunity for Hanoians and domestic and foreign tourists to admire images rich in artistic and humanistic values, and at the same time feel more proud and appreciate every inch of land, sea and sky of Vietnam.
