| Youth Union members visit and give gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Bach Thi Xu |
The delegation visited and paid tribute to four Vietnamese Heroic Mothers: Bach Thi Xu, Truong Thi Nghi, Tong Thi Nhon (all residing in Phu Ho commune) and Nguyen Thi Suong (residing in My Thuong commune). At each destination, the units kindly asked about the health and daily life of the mothers and expressed their deep gratitude for their sacrifices and contributions in the struggle to protect the Fatherland.
On this occasion, the delegation also presented portraits of the mothers along with cash and gifts. Before that, the delegation also visited and presented gifts to 14 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in the city.
On the same morning, the City Youth Union organized the program "A warm and loving reunion meal" with the participation of many union members and young people at the home of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Suong.
The representative of the City Youth Union said: The activity was organized to commemorate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025); thereby, demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" of the young generation, contributing to spreading the tradition of gratitude to heroic martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution.
