The new Ho Chi Minh City is not only a larger city in terms of area, but also a smarter and more connected development space. This is the process of forming a modern multi-centered urban area, where integrated infrastructure, smart logistics, digital economy and green economy become pillars for breakthrough growth and sustainable development. In particular, the new Ho Chi Minh City is expected to play a key role in realizing the national development goals established in Conclusion No. 123-KL/TW dated January 24, 2025 of the Central Committee, Resolutions of the National Assembly and Resolution No. 25/NQ-CP dated February 5, 2025 of the Government, with the requirement that the national economic growth rate in 2025 reach at least 8%.
