Specifically, the standard score for the first choice at Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted ranges from 27 to 35.75 points. At Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted, the standard score ranges from 30 to 37.5 points.

Accordingly, the History class at Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted has the lowest standard score of 27 points, the highest is the Biology class with 35.75 points.

At Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted, the lowest standard score for the History class is 30 and the highest is 37.5 for the Biology class.

The admission score for the specialized system is the total score of the three general exams (coefficient 1), plus the score of the specialized exam (coefficient 2), the exams must be 2 points or higher.

Successful candidates must confirm their enrollment by June 25. Otherwise, they will be transferred to the general admission system. The benchmark scores for this system will be announced on June 26.

This year, more than 5,600 candidates registered for the two specialized schools Le Hong Phong and Tran Dai Nghia, the lowest in the past 4 years. Compared to last year, the number of candidates for the specialized 10th grade exam decreased by nearly 2,700.

In addition, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City also announced the admission scores for integrated English grade 10 at high schools for the 2025-2026 school year.

Accordingly, in this list, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School has the highest standard score of 32.25 points (first choice). The two schools with the lowest standard scores are Luong The Vinh High School and Mac Dinh Chi High School with 26.5 points.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has also just announced the score distribution of 3 subjects in the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year.

Specifically, 36 candidates achieved perfect scores in Math, compared to 49 last year. About 63.3% of the test scores were above average, with a common score of 7 achieved by more than 4,500 students. However, this subject also recorded more than 28,000 candidates scoring below 5 points, accounting for about 36.7%.

Last year, the Math exam in Ho Chi Minh City made many candidates cry, the percentage of candidates with scores below 5 was over 50%.

In Literature, the score range is concentrated in the 5 - 7.5 range, similar to last year, with two exams scoring 9.5. From 9 points and above, 203 candidates achieved. The most achieved mark was 7 with nearly 6,000 exams. About 15% of exams were below average.

Meanwhile, about 31.5% of the English test scores were below average. The average score range for candidates was 5.75 - 8.25 points. The number of tests with perfect scores was 488, less than 1/3 of last year's (1,700).

However, the number of candidates taking the 10th grade exam this year is more than 76,000, a decrease of about 27,000 candidates.
