Hai Duong City proposes 27 wharves to continue operating

According to the People's Committee of Hai Duong City, currently in the city there are 27 parking lots proposed to continue operating, 24 parking lots must cease operations and 4 parking lots are not in accordance with planning.

Of the 24 yards that must be stopped and cleared, 18 have stopped and 3 have been cleared, while 3 are being processed. Of the 4 yards that are not in accordance with the planning, 3 have been granted operating licenses related to dikes by the People's Committee of Hai Duong province, and 1 has been granted a land use right certificate by the People's Committee of Hai Duong province. The People's Committee of Hai Duong city has requested competent authorities to consider allowing these 4 yards to continue operating until the expiration of the granted license or until a new project is implemented. Of the 27 yards proposed to continue operating, some are still stuck in land and investment procedures; the city has requested competent authorities to provide guidance and resolve these issues.

Hai Duong City People's Committee assigned the Dike Management Department to inspect and supervise the operations of unqualified wharves, clear them, and terminate their operations before October 30, 2024.

Commune-level People's Committees with yards in their areas that do not meet operating conditions shall mobilize them to voluntarily dismantle, clear, and relocate before October 15, 2024. Those that are still operating after this date shall report to the City People's Committee and organize enforcement according to regulations. Relevant departments, offices, units, and commune-level People's Committees shall handle and completely clear the locations of yards that are not allowed to operate before December 31, 2024...
