On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on the evening of July 26, Gia Lai Provincial Youth Union organized an incense offering and candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at Gia Lai Provincial Martyrs Cemetery and 174 steles, memorials, and martyrs' cemeteries in the province.
Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Chi Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of Gia Lai Provincial Youth Union affirmed that in order to have peaceful and happy springs, millions of outstanding children of the nation fell, taking with them unfinished dreams and brilliant youth.
How many people returned with lifelong disabilities. How many families will never see their loved ones again. How many graves are still unidentified. How many heroes and martyrs who have transformed themselves into the motherland are still undiscovered.
Paying tribute to heroes and martyrs is not only the responsibility of the current generation in this time of peace, but also a "sacred debt" of future generations.
In the sacred atmosphere, at the Gia Lai Province Martyrs Cemetery, the resting place of 681 outstanding children who devoted their youth to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, youth union members and veterans together lit candles in gratitude, expressing their respect and deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs.
For thousands of years, the Vietnamese people have nurtured a precious tradition of ardent patriotism, indomitable spirit, and will for national independence and self-reliance. Through many wars of resistance against foreign invaders, generations of fathers and brothers did not spare their blood and bones, fought steadfastly and bravely to protect every inch of the sacred land of the Fatherland.

Regiment 451, Naval Region 4, organized many gratitude activities on War Invalids and Martyrs Day.
During the glorious Ho Chi Minh era, under the Party's flag, our entire people wrote brilliant pages of history, won independence, unified the country, and brought the country together.
