The wave of defections from Leverkusen has not ended yet.
According to Sky Sport Germany, Piero Hincapie has become the next player to publicly express his desire to leave Bayer Leverkusen this summer. The Ecuadorian international played a key role under coach Xabi Alonso, helping the BayArena team create a miracle in the 2023/24 Bundesliga.
However, after the departure of the Spanish coach, Hincapie's future is becoming uncertain. The 23-year-old left-back wants to leave before the summer transfer window closes in 2025. Several teams have expressed interest in the player born in 2002, notably Tottenham.
Hincapie's release clause is currently 60 million euros. Leverkusen has also said goodbye to a number of veterans who have achieved glory with former coach Alonso, such as Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz, Jonathan Tah, Granit Xhaka, Amine Adli, and Odilon Kossounou.
Tottenham spent 70 million euros but was still rejected by the 20-year-old talent
According to Tuttosport, Tottenham has just had young talent Nico Paz's offer to play in the Premier League rejected, despite being willing to pay Como a transfer fee of up to 70 million euros. The reason the 20-year-old attacking midfielder does not want to leave is because he dreams of moving to Real Madrid in the near future.
Nico Paz, a product of Real Madrid Castilla, joined Como last summer for €6 million on a four-year contract. In 35 appearances in Serie A 2024/25, the three-time Argentina international has scored six goals.
According to the previous purchase agreement with Como, Real has priority to buy back Nico Paz next summer for a fee of only 10 million euros. In the context that this promising young star has proven his ability, Los Blancos intend to compensate the Italian team with a fee in the future.
Wolves officially ask to buy Uche
According to the Daily Mail, Wolves have officially sent Getafe a 20 million euro offer to buy striker Christantus Uche. The Spanish representative has not yet responded, but sources revealed that the deal is going in a positive direction.
The Molineux team is urgently improving their attack when they have not scored any goals and have had to suffer empty-handedness after 2 rounds of the 2025/26 Premier League.
Allegri wants to bring Vlahovic to Milan
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, coach Max Allegri has expressed his desire to recruit another striker to the AC Milan leadership. The strategist who led Juventus is a big fan of Dusan Vlahovic and hopes to have the striker's service for the Serie A title campaign.
Despite scoring a goal in Juventus' 2-0 win over Parma in the opening round of Serie A 2025/26, Vlahovic is still subject to a possible sale. The Serbia international joined Juve in the winter of 2022 from Fiorentina for €70 million, plus €10 million in add-ons.
After 146 appearances for the black and white striped team in Italy's top flight, the 25-year-old striker has contributed 59 goals. Juve are expected to earn at least 40 million euros if they sell Vlahovic.
Real gives the green light for Alaba to leave
AS revealed that Real Madrid confirmed that they are ready to let David Alaba find a new destination in this summer transfer window. The Austrian defender currently has only 1 year left on his contract and the Spanish Royal team has no intention of extending it.
Since arriving at the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer of 2021 on a free transfer, Alaba has not made many outstanding contributions due to a long history of injuries. Last season, the former Bayern Munich defender only played 7 matches for Los Blancos in La Liga.
With limited contributions but a salary of up to 19.5 million euros per season, it is understandable why Alaba is becoming a "thorn" in the eyes of Real's leadership.
McTominay invites Hojlund to Napoli
According to Football Italia, Scott McTominay is playing a negotiating role in the plan to bring Rasmus Hojlund to Napoli. The Serie A champions are currently very interested in the services of the Danish striker but have not yet reached an official transfer agreement with Man United.
In the latest move, Napoli sent a loan offer of 5 million euros to Old Trafford, with an option to buy for 40 million euros. The Red Devils seemed quite satisfied with this offer, so the final decision rested with Hojlund.
The 22-year-old striker himself still has a heavy heart for the Manchester giants and is willing to stay to compete for an official position in the attack. In case of leaving, Hojlund also wants his future to be more secure instead of a loan deal.
The former Atalanta striker's hesitant attitude forced Napoli to rely on McTominay for more influence. Since leaving Man United to join the Naples team last summer, the Scottish midfielder quickly proved his ability to win Serie A with his new teammates, thereby surprisingly appearing on the list of nominees for the 2025 Ballon d'Or.
