From June 11 to June 18, Cao Bang province received and allocated 1,308,360 tons of rice from the national reserve according to Decision 928/QD-TTg dated May 15, 2025 of the Prime Minister to support people during the crop gap in early 2025.

The Department of Health coordinated with the State Reserve Sub-Department of Region VI to coordinate with the Department of Finance to guide the People's Committees of districts and cities to organize the reception and distribution of the above amount of rice to localities in the province to support 53,905 people at risk of hunger in 2025. Accordingly, the districts: Hoa An was allocated 69,405 kg, Quang Hoa 73,635 kg, Ha Quang 209,250 kg, Nguyen Binh 114,765 kg, Bao Lam 280,335 kg, Bao Lac 273,450 kg, Thach An 86,535, Ha Lang 49,365 kg, Trung Khanh 124,650 kg and the City 26,970 kg.

Immediately after receiving the rice, the districts and cities organized the transportation of rice to communes and towns to promptly support the people, ensuring timely, correct recipients, correct quotas, and no loss or waste according to regulations. According to the plan, by June 18, the provision of rice to relieve hunger for the people will be completed.
