Tien Giang: Southern Power Corporation donated 900 million VND to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

(ABO) On the afternoon of June 17, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Giang province - the Provincial "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee organized a program to receive funds from the Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) to support 900 million VND.

Responding to the emulation movement "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in 2025 launched by the Prime Minister and on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of EVNSPC's establishment, the Board of Directors, officers, employees and workers of EVNSPC are interested in contributing funds to the provincial "For the Poor" fund to participate in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in Tien Giang province.

Speaking at the program, comrade Huynh Van Hai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, said that in order to promote the patriotic tradition of "The whole leaves cover the torn leaves" and implement the emulation movement "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" by 2025 launched by the Prime Minister and the emulation movement "For the poor - Leaving no one behind", up to now, the implementation of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses has been largely achieved and is expected to be completed in accordance with regulations.
On behalf of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Comrade Huynh Van Hai sincerely thanked the contributions from EVNSPC as well as Tien Tien Giang Electricity Company. The funding from EVNSPC will be quickly transferred to districts, towns and cities to build and remove temporary and dilapidated houses and ensure the transfer of use for the right purpose and to the right subjects.
