Tien Dat releases EP 30 years of music, paying tribute to the journey of "overcoming thorns"

Rapper Dinh Tien Dat (Mr D) officially introduced the EP "I'm 30 - 30 years I'm still here", marking the milestone of 30 years of artistic activities. This is also the next step after the journey "Brother overcomes thousands of obstacles".

From the Hoang Thong Dance Group rehearsal floor to the public stages, from dancer to rapper, then pausing with music and then returning... Dinh Tien Dat has gone through three decades like that. And his EP I'm 30 - 30 years I'm still here ( extended album) tells the story of that musical journey. The EP includes 6 songs: Chia tay roi moi biet , Chí Phèo , Khi ta c con dà k mơ , Bo ban tay mot ra , Vui cung Mr.D, Proud to be a child.

The EP I'm 30 - I've Been Here for 30 Years has just been released, a colorful musical feast by Dinh Tien Dat, both nostalgic and fresh. The songs show many unique aspects of his upcoming musical journey. With diverse styles such as pop/ballad, R&B, rap, rap-rock... performed with fresh arrangements, the songs still retain the core of Tien Dat's artistic spirit.

Returning in the EP celebrating 30 years of artistic activities, Tien Dat is full of effort, catching up with music trends and getting closer to the music tastes of modern youth. "I want my works to not only be for the beloved audience who have accompanied me throughout the past time, but also to be able to reach today's youth," he said.

At the EP announcement event, Tien Dat was moved when mentioning 32 colleagues in Anh t trai v vu n ngan c hong g a i . He modestly shared: “To me, they are 32 teachers. In the emotional journey back to music, I learned many good things from seniors and young artists. Most importantly, I learned how to overcome my comfort zone, communicate and connect with fellow artists and audiences to discover many new things.”

That same evening, Dinh Tien Dat also released the MV Bo ban tay do ra composed by musician Pham Viet Hoang. The MV is the opening product of the EP release series with the "storytelling" part by director Neko Le. The MV brings together a cast of famous guest actors: Tien Dat, Rhymastic, Ha Le, Quoc Thien, BB Tran...

The next MV, Chia tay roi moi biet , will be released on September 28, the same day Dinh Tien Dat organizes a FANCON to meet the audience at the Southern Branch of the Army Theater. Next, 2 products, Chi Pheo , Khi ta c con d ia k ho , will be released in October; Vui cung Mr.D will be released in November and Tu phan duoc lam con will be released to the audience in December.

Tien Dat started his artistic career in 1994-1995 when he was a member of the Hoang Thong dance troupe. After that, he switched to performing rap with the stage name Mr.Dee, which became famous in the 2000s and quickly achieved success. He released many albums with a unique musical style, combining rap, pop with familiar lyrics. After 2014, he temporarily stopped his artistic activities, until 2024 when he participated in the program Anh t trai v vu n ngan c hong g ai and returned to art.
