More than 80 officials and businesses in Ha Tinh were provided with information on technology applications in management, operation and digital transformation in tourism activities.
On the morning of October 6, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the Tourism Information Center (Vietnam National Administration of Tourism) to organize a training conference on digital transformation in tourism activities in Ha Tinh province in 2023. The program had more than 80 trainees, who were tourism officers from the Department of Culture and Information of districts, towns and cities, tourism businesses and representatives of tourist areas and destinations in the area.
At the conference, students were introduced to policies and orientations for digital transformation in the tourism industry, some applications and information technology products in management, operation and digital transformation in tourism activities such as Vietnam Tourism Yellow Pages; Viet card - national tourism card; "Vietnam Tourism - Vietnam Travel" application... The training program also provides instructions on how to use the software to receive and send tourism statistical reports according to Circular No. 18/2021/TT/BVHTTDL dated December 31, 2021 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. In addition, the trainees also exchanged and discussed with the lecturers many contents related to the digital transformation trend in the tourism sector. The conference aims to help state management agencies on tourism and businesses grasp the orientations of digital transformation in the tourism sector; contribute to changing awareness, working methods and opening up new ways, applying information technology in providing tourism services, contributing to promoting business growth and development of Ha Tinh tourism industry in general. |
