Prime Minister returns to Hanoi, successfully concluding visit to 3 Middle Eastern countries

The Prime Minister 's visit to the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar left an important mark, with the elevation of relations between Vietnam and the three countries in particular and with the Middle East and North Africa region in general.

According to the special correspondent of VNA, on the evening of November 1, the plane carrying Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation arrived in Hanoi , successfully concluding the official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE); attending the 8th Future Investment Initiative Conference and working visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; and officially visiting the State of Qatar.

During the 6-day working trip, including travel, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had a dense, rich, practical and effective working program with nearly 60 activities. During this, the Prime Minister held talks, meetings and contacts with senior leaders of various countries; worked with leaders of ministries, organizations, corporations and large investment funds of the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. In particular, the Prime Minister spent time meeting with officials and staff of the Embassy and the Vietnamese community in all three countries.

The Prime Minister also delivered a speech at the 8th Future Investment Initiative Conference in Saudi Arabia; delivered a policy speech at the UAE Diplomatic Academy; attended the Vietnam-UAE Business Forum; attended the opening ceremony of Vinfast's car showroom and the opening ceremony of FPT Group's office in Saudi Arabia; visited Qatar's Ras Laffan Industrial Zone...

The visit left an important mark, with the elevation of relations between Vietnam and the three countries in particular and the Middle East and North Africa region in general. In particular, Vietnam and the UAE upgraded their relations to Comprehensive Partnership and signed the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). Vietnam and Saudi Arabia and Qatar agreed to soon promote the upgrading of relations to a new level.

During the visit, Vietnam and the three countries signed and exchanged 33 cooperation documents in the fields of trade, investment, finance, energy, innovation, standards, measurement and quality, sports education, and cooperation between enterprises, creating a foundation for promoting cooperation in all fields between Vietnam and the three countries to develop strongly in the coming time./.
