100 golfers participate in fundraising golf tournament to support ethnic minority female students

VHO - The Hoiana Brighter Path Charity Invitational with the theme “Opening the Way to the Future” will officially take place at Hoiana Shores Golf Club (HSGC) on September 20, 2025 with the participation of about 100 golfers.

The charity tournament, coordinated by Hoiana Resort & Golf and VinaCapital Foundation (VCF), is expected to attract the participation of about 100 golfers who are businessmen and influential people at home and abroad.

It is expected that golfers will be divided into 4 groups A, B, C and Women, competing in the form of stroke play with Net points according to Handicap on the 18-hole HSGC course - Top 100 best golf courses in the world.

Not only is it a playground to connect golf lovers, Hoiana Brighter Path Charity Invitational is also an event with profound humanitarian meaning. All tournament entry fees will be contributed directly to the program “Opening the way to the Future” of VCF.

Launched in 2010, the “Paving the Way to the Future” program aims to support disadvantaged ethnic minority girls in rural areas of Vietnam. Through formal and informal education programs, girls will have more opportunities to access knowledge, develop skills and realize their dreams of changing their lives. Since its inception, the program has supported nearly 3,000 students.

All tournament entry fees will be contributed directly to the VCF's "Paving the Way to the Future" program.

Hoiana Brighter Path Charity Invitational is a journey to connect communities, spread love and empower through education. The organizers believe that, with the support of golfers, businesses and donors, the tournament will pave the way to the future for disadvantaged ethnic minority girls in rural areas in Vietnam.

Since 2016, Hoiana Shores Golf Club has carried out many charity activities with a total value of nearly 5 billion VND. Most recently, in April 2024, the Hoiana Open Golf Tournament 2024 "For Vietnamese Children" charity tournament organized by HSGC raised more than 1.2 billion VND. Of which, more than 450 million VND was used to support operating costs for 6 Girls' Clubs paving the way to the future established by VCF in Da Nang .

Established in 2006, VCF is a non-profit organization licensed in the US and operating in Vietnam with activities to create health and education solutions to support disadvantaged children and women in Vietnam.

VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) focuses on 3 areas of activity. These include essential health programs such as: Vietnam Heartbeat program sponsoring heart surgery costs and pre- and post-operative care for children with congenital heart disease; Free medical screening for children in remote areas;...

Health capacity building programs such as: Providing training for health workers and equipment for emergency and newborn care in hospitals; Clean water program installing drinking water filtration systems that meet standards for disadvantaged groups;..

Education programs such as: Pathways to the Future – empowering ethnic minority girls to become change agents through full scholarships for high school and college; implementing Pathways to the Future Girls Clubs in high schools to equip girls with legal rights, reproductive health, financial literacy and leadership skills.
