According to the plan to organize Dong Nai Food Festival, the event aims to practically celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2; promote and introduce the richness and uniqueness of Dong Nai cuisine to domestic and foreign tourists; set a record related to cuisine to create a media highlight, enhance the position and culinary image of Dong Nai; build a digital culinary map to promote typical dishes, famous restaurants and eateries in the province. At the same time, promote culinary tourism, contributing to stimulating tourism demand.

Dong Nai Food Festival is scheduled to take place on August 20, 2025, at Buu Long Tourist Area (Tran Bien Ward). To serve people coming to visit and enjoy Dong Nai cuisine, Buu Long Tourist Area will offer free entrance tickets on the day of the event.
The festival has main contents such as: Cooking competition, vegetable and fruit carving; participating in exchanges with the master chef; setting the record for the largest cashew-puffed fried sticky rice in Vietnam; launching the digital culinary map of Dong Nai.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai province, Vu Xuan Truong, agreed with the opinions and proposals of the participating units. At the same time, he requested the units to carefully prepare for communication work before, during and after the event.

In addition, to attract tourists to visit, Mr. Vu Xuan Truong requested the organizing unit to create highlights to spread good effects for the event such as: Setting a record for the largest fried sticky rice with cashew nuts in Vietnam; interacting with the master chef; launching a digital culinary map... To ensure entertainment activities and culinary enjoyment worthy of the nature and scale of the province, the units must calculate and have specific plans to ensure the festival takes place successfully.
