Specifically, in Decision 1959/QD-UBND issued on June 13, the Provincial People's Committee reclaimed more than 1 million square meters of land from the People's Committees of the communes: Xuan Hiep, Xuan Truong, Xuan Tho, Suoi Cat and Gia Ray town (Xuan Loc district) to hand over to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center for management.
Of which, in Suoi Cat commune is more than 193 thousand m2 of land, Xuan Hiep commune is more than 61 thousand m2 of land, Xuan Tho commune is more than 693 thousand m2 of land, Xuan Truong commune is more than 64 thousand m2 of land and Gia Ray town is more than 16 thousand m2 of land.
The reason for land recovery is that the People's Committees of the communes: Xuan Hiep, Xuan Truong, Xuan Tho, Suoi Cat and Gia Ray town have a document voluntarily returning the land to the State according to the provisions of Article 82, Land Law 2024 (Article 82 stipulates land recovery due to termination of land use or voluntary return of land).
On the same day, June 13, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 1960/QD-UBND on land allocation to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center for management in the communes of Xuan Hiep, Xuan Truong, Xuan Tho, Suoi Cat and Gia Ray town. The total land area allocated is more than 1 million m² recovered from the above localities. The province assigned the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to be responsible for strictly managing the land, preventing encroachment and occupation, and developing an exploitation plan according to regulations.
