Latest information about foldable iPhone

(Dan Tri) - The first foldable iPhone is expected to cost $1,999 (about 52.8 million VND). The product is expected to launch in September 2026.

According to Bloomberg , the foldable iPhone (iPhone Fold) will be equipped with a total of 4 cameras. Of which, one camera will be placed on the inner screen, one camera on the outer screen and 2 main cameras will be located on the back.

Previously, Digital Chat Station revealed that the foldable iPhone will be equipped with a dual 48MP camera cluster. Experts believe that the second lens is likely to be an ultra-wide-angle lens, instead of a telephoto lens, due to space constraints inside the foldable device.

Apple is said to be using the C2 modem on the foldable iPhone to support cellular connectivity. However, the device may not have a physical SIM slot.

According to a report from market research firm TrendForce , the foldable iPhone will feature a 7.8-inch internal display and a 5.5-inch external display.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said the crease on the device's screen will almost disappear. Apple is said to use a special metal frame that helps disperse pressure when the screen bends, thereby minimizing the impact that causes the crease.

The foldable iPhone could come in two basic color options, including white and black. A report from JPMorgan revealed that Apple will launch a foldable product in September 2026.
