After transforming into a "street girl" with personality, participating in martial arts performances and suppressing speeding monsters in the program For a Peaceful Capital Festival (organized by Hanoi City Police at Hoan Kiem Lake walking street on the morning of August 10) causing a stir on social networks, Police Major Le Thi Mai Ly continued to attract special attention when appearing in an artistic photo series in Ao Dai.

"Wearing the ao dai on the great day of September 2, I feel both proud and moved. Proud to be able to join the sacred atmosphere of the nation, moved because each stitch, each fabric stroke is like a reminder of tradition, of the values that our ancestors have preserved. To me, the ao dai is not only a costume, but also a source of pride, a reminder to live worthy of the Fatherland today," Major Mai Ly shared with Dan Tri reporter.

Previously, Mai Ly's image as a strong and resilient police major had left a deep impression on the public, so her sudden transformation surprised many people.
The female People's Police officer said that this was her first time working as a fashion model. She was not too familiar with it, but her natural expressions made the public praise her gentle and elegant beauty.

"This is the first time I participated in a photo shoot as a model, so I was a bit nervous. But then I found it a very interesting experience, helping me gain more confidence and a different perspective on myself. Most importantly, I personally contributed a small part to spreading beautiful images on the great national holiday," Major Mai Ly expressed.
Mai Ly confided that she took these photos to participate in the project "Love Ao Dai, Love the Country" by designer Dung Nguyen. This is a non-profit project to spread love for the homeland, in response to the 80th National Day celebration on September 2.

Mai Ly said she learned about the project through her friend, singer Duong Hoang Yen. Realizing the significance of this activity, the two girls joined together.
"I feel excited to have the opportunity to try my hand at a new role in the project to promote the Ao Dai at a meaningful moment for all Vietnamese people," Major Mai Ly shared.

Images of Major Mai Ly in traditional ao dai, posing at iconic locations in Hanoi such as The Huc Bridge (Hoan Kiem Lake) or the Air Defense - Air Force Museum, immediately attracted great attention from the community.

The Huc Bridge, with its "red silk strip" standing out against the blue water of Hoan Kiem Lake, leads visitors to the sacred Ngoc Son Temple, a unique architectural work, a cultural symbol associated with the legends and history of the capital Hanoi.
Meanwhile, the Air Defense - Air Force Museum is a place to preserve important images, documents and artifacts about the formation, combat and development of the Vietnam Air Defense - Air Force.

When Major Mai Ly appeared at the Air Defense - Air Force Museum, she wore the People's Police uniform, showing the strength and determination of someone on duty to protect the peace of the country.

Major Mai Ly added that after being known to the public through the event on August 10, her life did not change much, but she became more aware of her responsibility and contribution to the community.
"I feel like I need to be more careful and conscious in my words and actions so as not to disappoint everyone's care and affection. And most importantly, I want to be myself," the female Major shared.
Mai Ly also frankly said that she has never thought about participating in artistic activities because her current job is her passion and takes up all her time. However, she does not hesitate to try new experiences to create more memories.
