The conference to announce the Decision to establish the Party Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its affiliated Party organizations took place on the afternoon of July 22 in Hanoi .
Member of the Politburo , Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central mass organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien chaired the conference.
The Party Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front consists of 15 Party organizations.
Pursuant to the Charter of the Communist Party of Vietnam and related regulations, the Party Committee of the Central Fatherland Front and Central mass organizations issued a Decision on the establishment of the Party Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
The content of the Decision clearly states: The Standing Committee of the Party Committee decides to establish the Party Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front as the direct superior Party Committee of the grassroots party organizations directly under the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and central mass organizations. The Party Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has the function of leading the implementation of political tasks and Party building work according to the provisions of the Party Charter and guiding documents for implementation.
The Party Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front consists of 15 Party organizations in units directly under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, including: The Office Party Committee; The Institute for Training, Fostering Cadres and Scientific Research; The Dai Doan Ket Newspaper Party Committee; The Organization and Inspection Committee Party Cell; The Democracy, Supervision and Social Criticism Committee Party Cell; The Social Work Committee Party Cell; The Propaganda Committee Party Cell; The Finance and Planning Department Party Cell; The Ethnic and Religious Committee Party Cell; The People's Foreign Affairs Committee Party Cell; The Mass Association Work Committee Party Cell; The Vietnam Fatherland Front Museum Party Cell; The Catholic Solidarity Committee Office Party Cell; The Chan Hung Company Party Cell; The staff and support agency Party Cell of the Party Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
The content of the Decision also clearly states the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Party Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in accordance with the Regulations of the Central Party Secretariat.
The conference announced the decision on the appointment of members to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2020-2025 term.
The content of the decision clearly states that the number of members of the Party Executive Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2020-2025 term is 25 comrades; the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2020-2025 term is 7 comrades.
In particular, Mr. Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central mass organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2020-2025.
Ms. Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central mass organizations, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, holds the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Strongly promote the core political role of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations
At the conference, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien said: Continuing to implement the Project on reorganizing the apparatus of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and central mass organizations according to Resolution 60-NQ/TW of the 13th Party Central Committee, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and central mass organizations announced the decision to establish the Party Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its affiliated Party organizations.
The Party Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has an important position and role in leading and directing party organizations, cadres and party members of general advisory agencies and public service units of the agency to promote initiative and creativity, improve the effectiveness of advisory work, organize and successfully implement resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat and the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, and central mass organizations. Thereby, strongly promoting the core political role of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to consolidate, strengthen and promote the strength of great national unity in the era of the Vietnamese nation's rise.
The Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations is a grassroots Party Committee; it has an Executive Committee, a Standing Committee, a Secretary, a Deputy Secretary and specialized advisory boards: the Office, the Organization Board, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Board, and the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee with a total of more than 5,000 Party members.
Thus, the Party Committee has been upgraded from a grassroots Party Committee to a superior Party Committee with a more important role and position, requiring innovation in thinking and working methods as General Secretary To Lam directed: The new apparatus must have new thinking and new working methods. Therefore, the Party Committee must overcome itself, together overcome all difficulties to excellently complete the assigned tasks, Mr. Do Van Chien noted.
The Party Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its affiliated Party organizations were established in the context of arranging socio-political organizations under the common roof of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and all levels implementing Directive No. 45-CT/TW dated April 14, 2025 of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.
Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien suggested that immediately after the conference, the Executive Committee, Standing Committees of branches and Party Committees should urgently issue working regulations, assign tasks to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Standing Party Committee; review and complete documents and personnel plans for the delegation to attend the higher-level Congress; and perfect the staff apparatus to assist the Party Committee...
Emphasizing that the Party, State and people have high expectations that after the organization and apparatus are reorganized and the Party organizations are arranged in accordance with the new model, the Fatherland Front and central mass organizations will operate more effectively. Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien hopes that cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will promote the glorious tradition of the previous generation, unite and join hands to build a clean and strong Party organization, and successfully complete assigned tasks.
