Visiting and giving gifts to policy families in the border commune of Phuoc Chi

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Chi commune, Tay Ninh province, coordinated with Phuoc Chi Border Guard Station and organizations and benefactors to visit and give gifts to policy families and meritorious people in the commune.

In the coordination program with Phuoc Chi Border Guard Station on July 26, the delegation visited and presented gifts to 10 policy households, war invalids, and martyrs' relatives in the commune; the total value of gifts was 10 million VND.

Previously, on the morning of July 25, the Party Committee - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Chi commune coordinated with the Women's Union, Trade Union and traders of Binh Tay market, Ho Chi Minh City to organize a program to give gifts to policy households. In this program, the delegation presented 100 gifts including 200,000 VND in cash and necessities; the total value of the gifts was 40 million VND.

These are practical activities to show gratitude to families of policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services, demonstrating the morality of “When drinking water, remember its source”, “Repaying gratitude”, remembering and showing deep gratitude to those who sacrificed and contributed to the cause of protecting the Fatherland. At the same time, it contributes to raising awareness and responsibility of cadres, soldiers and people for the work of caring for people with meritorious services to the revolution, further strengthening the solidarity between the army and people at the border./.
