In order to show their deep concern and support for the local education sector, delegations of Thai Nguyen province leaders attended the opening ceremony at many schools in the area.
The opening ceremony of Thai Nguyen Ethnic Boarding High School No. 2 was honored to welcome Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, along with leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of the Department of Education and Training.

Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities No. 2 is a common home for ethnic minority children in the northern communes of Thai Nguyen province, an educational environment that nurtures the future and trains human resources for the locality.
At the program, the Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee encouraged, congratulated, and presented teachers and students of the school with 10 computers, a meaningful gift for a new school year focusing on the spirit of innovation and promoting science and technology.

At Thai Nguyen Provincial High School for the Gifted, Mr. Dinh Quang Tuyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Nguyen province attended and congratulated. This is a pioneer school in intensive training, improving the quality of key education in the province.
In the 2025-2026 school year, Thai Nguyen will have 351 kindergartens, 263 primary schools, 287 secondary schools, 51 high schools, 15 vocational education and continuing education centers, 02 continuing education centers, 06 centers to support the development of inclusive education; including 13 boarding schools for ethnic minorities, 02 specialized high schools, 47 semi-boarding schools for ethnic minorities, and 36 non-public schools.
Thai Nguyen education sector has set many important goals, notably: Consolidating and arranging a reasonable network of schools; expanding the system of boarding and semi-boarding schools for ethnic minorities, striving to have at least 8% of ethnic minority students studying in boarding schools by 2030; increasing the rate of schools meeting national standards to about 80%, the rate of solid classrooms to over 90%; ensuring fairness in access to education; prioritizing resources for disadvantaged areas and industrial zones; aiming for a humane, modern, and integrated education.
