Last school year, Duong Minh Chau High School achieved many remarkable successes. The rate of students moving up to the next grade reached 94.35%, exceeding the target by 3.35% compared to the plan. Excellent students at the provincial level won 7 prizes (1 Second Prize in Literature, 1 Third Prize in Geography and 5 Encouragement Prizes in Literature, Physics and History).

The school has 3 leaders classified as "Excellent in completing tasks", 30 teachers recognized as "Basic Emulation Fighters".

In the new school year, Duong Minh Chau High School has set out 6 important tasks: Improving the quality of comprehensive education , especially life skills education; continuing to innovate teaching methods, enhancing the application of information technology, developing digital transformation in teaching and learning; promoting emulation movements, experiential activities, creativity, extracurricular activities, etc.

The opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year, which is also the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training ), was held in the morning of the same day. Duong Minh Chau High School also attended the program, which was broadcast live on VTV1 (Vietnam Television).
