TPO - 2024 is the year when key projects in Binh Duong province enter the peak construction phase. Therefore, the locality prioritizes allocating public investment capital this year to key projects that are connected and create momentum for economic and social development.
According to Tien Phong newspaper reporters on February 20, key traffic projects in Binh Duong province have resumed construction after the Tet holiday.
A representative of the Binh Duong Province Traffic Project Management Board said that 2024 is the year when key projects in the province enter the peak construction phase. Some projects will accelerate their progress to completion, while others will start construction within the year.
To ensure timely progress, in 2024, Binh Duong province's functional departments will closely monitor the project, checking progress weekly, monthly and quarterly.
According to the plan, a number of key projects in Binh Duong will be completed and put into use by mid-2024. Specifically, the Bach Dang 2 Bridge project, crossing the Dong Nai River connecting Binh Duong and Dong Nai, is expected to be completed by the end of July 2024. Therefore, since the beginning of the year, the project has been accelerated.

For the Bach Dang Bridge project, there are 2 components. The project to build the approach road and bridge has a route length of about 2.68km, with a scale of 4 lanes. The total investment capital of the project is more than 490 billion VND.
Another key transport project, linking regions with strategic significance for the economic and social development of Binh Duong province is the Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang dynamic road project.
Binh Duong province has been accelerating the implementation of this project since the beginning of the year. The Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang dynamic road from Tam Lap bridge to Dong Phu is expected to be completed in April 2024; the section from Tan Long to Lai Uyen is expected to be completed in May 2024 and the section from Tan Lap intersection to Bau Bang is expected to be completed in October 2024.

Also in 2024, two key transport projects with huge investment capital will begin construction.
Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project in Binh Duong province is expected to start construction on April 30, 2024. The total investment of the project is about 18,247 billion VND, expected to be completed by the end of 2026. The project is about 47.85km long, passing through Bac Tan Uyen district, Tan Uyen city, Thu Dau Mot city and Ben Cat town.
Next is the Ho Chi Minh City - Chon Thanh Expressway project, the section through Binh Duong province has the starting point at Ring Road 3 (in Thuan An City), the end point at the border of Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc, the total length is over 45.6km, the scale of the expressway has a design speed of 100km/h. For this project, Binh Duong province is expected to start construction on September 2, 2024.

The Ho Chi Minh City - Chon Thanh Expressway project through Binh Duong has a total investment of about 17,408 billion VND. The project plays a role in connecting the Central Highlands and the Southeast regions.
