Many means of transporting goods appear to park illegally, causing traffic jams, disturbing urban order and public order, potentially causing accidents and spoiling the beauty of the central urban area.
Lieutenant Colonel Le Ngoc Hon, Deputy Head of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, Provincial Police, said: “To strengthen the work of restoring urban order and public order, the unit has advised the Provincial Police Department to proactively coordinate with the traffic police force, traffic inspectors and local functional agencies, regularly organizing campaigns to clear violations. At the same time, directing the order police force to develop and implement many plans to strengthen inspection, patrol and control work, promptly detect and strictly handle cases of intentional violations, contributing to restoring the roadway, curbs, sidewalks, and creating clear roads and sidewalks.”

Thereby, coordinated inspections and detected 3,435 cases of violations of traffic safety order, urban order, and public order, imposed fines of over 4 billion VND, and deducted driving license points for 329 cases.
In addition, the public order police force also came to inspect and work with the owners of the transport service stations and yards... pointing out the shortcomings, limitations, and non-compliance with the law, especially in handling cases of stopping and parking vehicles in violation of regulations, encroachment on the roadway and sidewalk. Thereby, requiring drivers and owners of stations and yards to commit to correcting the violations.
Mr. Nguyen Ng. Ch. (residing in My Long ward) said: “Today, I parked my car on the sidewalk. The police reminded me that I parked in violation of regulations and was dangerous for pedestrians. I have admitted my mistake and have a solution: I will move my car into the parking lot in the future to avoid affecting the pedestrian area.” Through inspection and handling of violations, the public order police force also organizes propaganda and dissemination of some legal regulations on traffic safety, urban order, and public order for people, businesses, dock owners, drivers, etc. to understand and implement.
