This is an event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-UK diplomatic relations and the 10th anniversary of RGS Vietnam.

Attending the concert were Vietnamese Ambassador to the UK Nguyen Hoang Long; Ms. Dao Thi Hong, First Secretary in charge ofeducation at the Vietnamese Embassy in the UK; Principal of RGS UK Shaun Fenton; Principal of RGS Vietnam Primary School Brendan Finn; along with students, teachers and parents of the school.
At the concert, Vietnamese students and students from RGS UK performed Vietnamese and British music pieces as well as Vietnamese traditional dances, receiving enthusiastic support from students, teachers and parents of the school.
The concert is an activity in the exchange, cooperation and student exchange program between RGS Vietnam and UK.
During this student exchange trip to the UK, the Vietnamese students had the opportunity to experience the reality of studying in the UK, with visits to 9 British universities, including Oxford University and Cambridge University, the two oldest and most prestigious universities in the UK.
They also participate in learning and experience activities with students at RGS UK such as attending music lessons, sports, sports competitions...
Within the framework of cooperation activities to exchange learning and experience for students of the two countries, RGS Vietnam also organizes regular programs to welcome students who have just completed the high school graduation exam of RGS UK to Hanoi to experience and study.
RGS is a leading secondary school in the UK with over 350 years of development history. The establishment of RGS Vietnam, the first private school in Vietnam with the British education brand, demonstrates the long-term educational cooperation relationship between Vietnam and the UK. The school currently has more than 400 students in three levels with international general education programs of the International Baccalaureate and Cambridge. |
