New students of Tra Vinh University are exempted from first year tuition fees

On September 6, Associate Professor Dr. Diep Thanh Tung - Vice Principal of Tra Vinh University (Vinh Long) - said that in the 2025-2026 school year, the school decided to waive first-year tuition fees for new students in 11 majors.

Accordingly, Tra Vinh University will exempt 100% of first-year tuition fees for students studying 11 majors: Plant Protection, Chemical Engineering Technology, Social Work, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Traffic Construction Engineering, Public Health, Biotechnology, Political Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mechatronics and Environmental Engineering.

In particular, the school will grant scholarships equivalent to 50% of the full course tuition fee to female students applying for admission to engineering majors including: Traffic Construction Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology, Control and Automation Engineering Technology, and Automotive Engineering Technology.

Female students majoring in Applied Chemistry will receive a scholarship equivalent to 30% of the full course tuition.

In addition, students studying the Business Administration and Information Technology program (English integrated program) will also receive a 50% tuition scholarship. The school also partially supports students to participate in international programs and projects, in order to expand their opportunities for learning and global experiences.

Sharing about the tuition exemption policy for new students, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa - Principal of Tra Vinh University - emphasized the school's support and sharing to reduce the financial burden on parents, while also motivating students to study hard, towards a solid future.

He said that Tra Vinh University always cares for and looks after students from the first days they enter the lecture hall, helping them feel secure in studying, practicing and pursuing their dreams, becoming useful people for society. The school also implements many other support policies to share difficulties and accompany students throughout their learning process.
