Tan Bien: Donating charity houses to poor households in especially difficult circumstances

On June 25, Tan Bien District Youth Union coordinated with the Steering Committee of the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign of Thanh Binh Commune to organize a ceremony to present a House of Love to the family of Mr. Nguyen Ngoc My, born in 1957, residing in Thanh An Hamlet, Thanh Binh Commune.

Mr. My is a poor household of the province in 2024 and is a policy beneficiary under Decision 62 of the Prime Minister .

Mr. My’s family is in difficult circumstances, he has to sell lottery tickets to make a living and take care of his sick wife and mentally ill son. The old house is seriously degraded, the floor is low, the roof is leaky, the walls are cracked in many places, greatly affecting daily life.

The total construction cost of the house is 90 million VND, of which, Tay Ninh Provincial Youth Union mobilized BIDV Bank to sponsor 60 million VND, the rest was supported by the Fund for the Poor of Thanh Binh commune.
