Accordingly, in the video , a group of people dressed in what is said to be youth volunteer uniforms enter a karaoke bar, walk past and shake hands with the female employees of the bar. Next, the image switches to inside the singing room and this group of people dances obscenely to the music.
The images went viral on social media.
At the end of the video, the group of people greets a group of women. Most viewers believe that the karaoke bar is doing something offensive. The online community wants the management agency and authorities to quickly verify the information and punish the violators. This is not the first time that content on social networks has angered the public.
Inspectors of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports said they are checking, verifying, clarifying information about the incident and will strictly handle it according to their authority.
In addition, the Department Inspectorate also coordinated with PA03 (Department of Internal Political Security, Hanoi City Police), and Hoang Mai District Police to verify and clarify the incident.
The account that posted the controversial video has now been locked.
The TikTok account that posted the video has now been locked. A representative of the Paris Club karaoke bar confirmed that the video clip was posted in February and was not intended to defame the military. He said that the videos were filmed by a booking agent (a person who invites customers) to attract customers, not by the bar's official account.
Previously, on the social network TikTok, many account owners were fined for videos with controversial content, intentionally attracting views and likes. Most recently, TikToker Hua Quoc Anh, No O No... were fined for posting false information, sharing information that is not in accordance with the nation's traditions and customs.
