On the morning of July 26, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (HCF) coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society to organize a voluntary blood donation program with the theme "Sharing drops of red blood".
The program had the participation of more than 400 union members and workers working at units and enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City.
Practical voluntary blood donation program to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025); 80 years of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 137th birthday of President Ton Duc Thang (August 20, 1888 - August 20, 2025).

This is also an activity to promote propaganda and mobilize union officials, union members and workers to actively participate in voluntary blood donation, overcoming the shortage of blood donors in the city. Thereby building a beautiful culture of blood donation to save lives, enhancing the tradition of humanity and love for the community among union members and workers.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union organized 16 blood donation campaigns, mobilizing 4,500 union members and workers to participate. More than 3,200 units of blood were received.
* On the same day, at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Binh Thanh Ward (HCMC), the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Thanh Ward organized the program "Meeting Lao and Cambodian students studying in HCMC".

The event is an opportunity to demonstrate the spirit of solidarity and friendship between the people of Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia, and at the same time strengthen exchanges and connections between local authorities and international students living and studying in Ho Chi Minh City.
In a warm and friendly atmosphere, Lao and Cambodian students studying in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnamese students had cultural exchanges and listened to the introduction of the formation and development process of Binh Thanh ward.


On this occasion, Lao and Cambodian students participated in a blood donation program with the theme: Blood Donation – Friendship Forever. The program is an activity connecting delegates and students with a noble gesture, demonstrating the spirit of humanity and sharing between the local community and international students.
