Merging police of 3 districts in Lam Dong

(Dan Tri) - The Ministry of Public Security decided to establish Da Huoai District Police (Lam Dong) on ​​the basis of merging the police of 3 districts.

On November 29, Lam Dong Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the establishment of the new Da Huoai District Police.

Accordingly, the Da Huoai District Police (new) was established on the basis of merging the Da Huoai, Da Teh and Cat Tien District Police (Lam Dong).

On the same day, Lam Dong Provincial Police also appointed Major Dao Huy Duong, Chief of Da Huoai District Police (old) to hold the position of Chief of Da Huoai District Police (new).

Previously, on October 24, the National Assembly Standing Committee issued Resolution No. 1245/NQ-UBTVQH15 on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units of Lam Dong province for the period 2023-2025. In which, Da Teh and Cat Tien districts were merged into Da Huoai district and took effect from December 1.

In early November, the Standing Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee issued a plan to establish organizational structure and arrange personnel for administrative units at district and commune levels for the 2023-2025 period.
