To prepare for the summary conference, in recent days, communes and towns in Tran Van Thoi district have reviewed the content of the presentations; issued invitations and prepared the hall so that the summary ceremony can take place thoughtfully.
Tran Van Thoi district has 561 households eligible for support to remove temporary and dilapidated houses. By the end of May, the district had completed and handed over to beneficiaries, nearly 1 month ahead of schedule. Implementing the Prime Minister 's direction: "only discuss, no backtracking", right from the beginning of the implementation, the District Steering Committee has strengthened supervision and urged contractors to speed up the construction and repair of houses for poor households, near-poor households and meritorious families, ensuring quality, on schedule and for the right subjects. The completion ahead of schedule also created favorable conditions for the locality to carefully prepare for the upcoming 3-level summary conference.
Khanh Binh Dong Commune, Tran Van Thoi District has 59 households supported by the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. Mr. Tran Trong The, Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, said: "By the end of May, the locality had completed construction and handed over to households. To prepare for the 3-level summary conference, in recent days, the locality has urgently reviewed the guest list, edited the content of the speeches, especially the meeting hall standards, and tested the transmission signal to ensure no interruptions when the conference takes place."
Mr. Nguyen The Chau, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tran Van Thoi district, shared: "With the efforts of the entire political system, it is expected that at this summary conference, the locality will have 1 collective and 1 individual receiving a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister; 6 collectives and 10 individuals will be awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. According to the review of the District People's Committee, by June 11, all preparations for the conference have been completed, ensuring thoughtfulness, worthiness and creating a strong spread in the community".
In Dam Doi district, the locality has 698 houses supported by the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. By April, the district had started construction and achieved 100% of the plan; at the end of May, the last houses were handed over to the beneficiaries.
Regarding the preparation for the conference, Chairman of Dam Doi District People's Committee Le Minh Hien said: "The district has directed communes and towns to urgently review all the contents of the conference preparation according to the conclusion of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan at the meeting to review the contents and preparations for the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province on June 11. Regarding the preparation for the inauguration ceremony and handover of the house marking the completion of the program in Ta An Khuong Dong commune, Dam Doi district, the district has also directed the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district and related units to comprehensively review and urgently complete the contents, programs, and preparations. At this point, the necessary conditions for the ceremony have been prepared."
