After a conflict with coach Amorim and having his number 10 shirt stripped by MU and given to new player Matheus Cunha, Rashford finally got his dream transfer to Barcelona.

The Catalan club have signed Marcus Rashford on a season-long loan, with an option to buy him next summer for £26m.

The 27-year-old striker was announced by Barcelona yesterday evening (July 23), with a video recording the scene of him answering the phone in a red telephone booth - the symbol of the United Kingdom.

Speaking on Barca's official Youtube channel in a smart suit, Rashford excitedly said:

"This is my dream club. Barcelona has a rich tradition and has won many titles. What the club represents means a lot to me. Therefore, I feel at home.

I always try to be decisive and play fast and dynamic. I also loved watching Barca when I was young.

I am very happy to be here and will enjoy every minute of it. The mood is exciting and I am eager to get out there and help the team win."

At the same time, MU also sent good luck to Rashford. This is the second consecutive time the Three Lions striker has been loaned out, after serving Aston Villa in the second half of last season.

Barcelona will pay 100% of Rashford's huge £325,000-a-week wages. The loan deal will help the Catalan club save money while still adding a quality player to their attack.
