Accordingly, the Gia Lai Branch of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education was approved by the Ministry of Education and Training in Decision No. 2418/QD-BGDDT dated September 5, 2024. The launch of the Gia Lai Branch in early 2025 demonstrates the strategic vision of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education in contributing to socio -economic development and training high-quality human resources for the Central Highlands region.
Prof. Dr. Huynh Van Son, Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, emphasized: “Gia Lai Branch is not only a new training facility but also a symbol of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education’s commitment to accompany the development of the Central Highlands. We wish to create an advancededucational environment, foster knowledge, train generations of dedicated and highly qualified teachers, contributing to improving the quality of human resources for the region”.

The establishment of the Gia Lai Branch of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education will contribute to solving this problem, meeting the increasing demand for human resources in the region.
The Gia Lai Branch of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education will focus on training and fostering a team of teachers to meet the requirements of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training, contributing to solving the problem of teacher shortage, especially high-quality teachers in the region. At the same time, the Gia Lai Branch will expand access to high-quality education for students in Gia Lai and neighboring provinces, saving costs and travel time. The Branch will also be a center for scientific research and international cooperation, contributing to improving the quality of training and international integration of education in the region.
